6/19 S. Daytona/Port Orange = 21 Black Drum, 3 Reds, 2 Flounder, 2 Mangos, 2 Whiting

Today was a good day fishing! My buddy called me this afternoon and told me he had limited on Black Drum from 20 to 24 inches earlier at Sunglow Pier so that's what prompted the trip. I caught 21 Black Drum, 3 Reds, 2 Flounder, 2 Mangos, 2 Whiting. My buddy Blake caught 1 Red and 15 Black Drum. All except for the 2 Flounder were caught on frozen shrimp at SUNGLOW pier in S. Daytona Shores. The 2 Flounder were caught on small pinfish. The frozen shrimp we used were the smallest, tiniest shrimp I have ever fished with, and I don't think any of the shrimp were over 1 inch long. Still, it didn't seem to faze the fish from eating the wimpy shrimpy's. I will post some better pics when I get them... until then:

Between the 2 of us we kept 5 Black Drum, 2 Reds, 1 fat little Mango, and a Flounder.

All were caught on Owner hooks, a very small egg weight, Flourocarbon leaders tied to a swivel connected to 30-lb Power Pro running line.

SO funny, cause I went to the pier this Sunday and I Skunned :mad: :mad: :mad: .... I got two very nnice runs using cut mullet though,... I had troubles seeting the hooookk.. :( ......

I'm gettin shivers thinkin about the amount of fishing Im about to do starting this weekend. I leave from GA to Sanibel Island on thursday, a day in Valdosta, and arrive saturday. Ima post one HELL of a fishing report cuz I got two weeks of day and night, no sleep, stinky armpits, eatin beef jerky and livin like a hobo fishin. Got my stuf all ready and its gonna be sick.
