They are back... Hooked up with some over size slot Red at the Sebastian Inlet last night. Was quite wet with the waves but that seems to bring out the red bites... Saw some over slots landed and had some myself. Only in the 30in plus range but still nice. The 40in plus start late summer but it is nice that they are here. I was using 3oz sliver spoon and letting the current take the spoon and "jigging" with my rod to get more action as the out going tide whipped the spoon away. My buddy did not hook up, but he was not jigging. That could be why the older salts seem to hook up when I was not. I always saw them lifting their tips rods up and down so I tried it last night and it was the trick... Come on Back Emanual...
