Naples Pier - 06/24/2006

Come on down to Naples the bite is on. Fished for 2 hours on this mornings incoming tide. Lots of Spanish Mackeral (3 Keepers 16-17"), 1 slot trout 16" released, and a small blacktip 20-24"ish. Used light tackle 2/0 circle hook and greenbacks. I am now a beliver in circle hooks. I will never use anything else. So easy to dehook and not one gut hook. Awesome stuff!! Also got some tips from a old timer on how to make my own pilchard rings. Anybody else use em? I think they work alot better than sabiki. I'll post in the open forum for that battle.
