Word is....Flounder...For maybe three or four weeks now they have been active in and around the Fort (and I would guess anywhere else in our local area with plenty of food)..Low tide coming in seems to be the best time...but I have not given the high water coming out of the grass a chance yet...so i cant say for sure...From the input ive recieved it seems that most are legal size...averaging around 14...with an occasional 20+ every now and then...heard stories of a 32 inch "porch ornament" but didnt see the fish. The bite on the incoming has slowed since incoming water is now in the heat of the day. Gonna try the outgoing tomorrow. Will post.

I have been doing really well with Flounder the last few weeks around Tybee (landed around 30 this month), mostly Back River area, just can't post about it cuz its been from a boat. Most have been keepers 12-14 inch range with a few 15-17 inches and my biggest so far 19 1/2".:D

Think I'll try the fort Pulaski area this weekend.........on second thought, maybe not because of the oil spill they had in the north channel.:(
