Myself and Surf Fish hit Jekyll this morning. We started the day at the 520 Bridge and the ICW. The tide was still rising slightly, with the sun.
I had high hopes right off the bat when I saw a couple of nice Sheepheads around a piling in about 2 feet of water. I hurried to catch a few fiddlers, and try to get me a Sheep.....No DICE!
They wouldn't even act like they saw my fids...
On to the business at hand, Trout and Flounder. We were free lining live shrimp and mud minnows, as well as bottom fishing with cut mullet and shrimp.
We caught several trout, two whiting, a croaker a couple of sail cats, a bunch of silver perch, a sting ray, and a toadfish. NO flounder at the ICW.....Here's a pic of one of the trout

I ran a crab pot while we were fishing the bridge and at the pier and altogether caught about 15 or so. Jim and I will have mud minnow bait for a while.;)
Next, we fished Clam creek near the pier, and picked up three flounder and another croaker.
Moved to the pier and fished the rocks with no more luck, so we packed it up....
A good day of fishin' and B.S.in'!
I also had a freak accident at the pier, read about it in the open forum.....(insert blushing smilie)
