Not being from around the ocean I'm not quite sure about the size regulations for most keeper fish. I've looked on GA DNR and have the information that I need. However, I remember when I was down at St. Simons a guy had a ruler that had the different fish species on it and showed what their length had to be in order to be keepers.

Do you know where I can get one of these?

Thanks for your help.

There are some rulers stuck on the different piers. I actually saw one on the rail of the old Jekyll Island causeway bridge on Saturday. Not sure if it has the different species listed.

Check Tackle Shack on Community rd.

When you do pick up that measure, make sure it's for the current year. I know a lot of states put that ruler out every year to promote proper fishing. I remember seeing them in a bait and tackle shop for free in Kansas when I was growing up. It was a vinyl one that you could stick on your cooler.

Love the store. Went there a number of times while I was at Jekyll. Even bought some stuff for my crossbow.
