to fish in the Annapolis / Bay immediate or close area ????

There are none unless you own the property.

For what its worth, every once in a while there is a flare up of people who approach the legislation to do something about waterfront access. Predictably it goes nowhere. Basically pissing in the wind....

In St. Mary's county i'm pretty sure beaches are not private property...but getting to them usaully involves trespassing to get there so you can't get there. Have no idea about driving on them though.

I'm sad to say this but with all the development on water front property it's hurting the fish and us shore bond fishermen.

I only started this thread / asked, because I am a surf fisherman exclusively. I had
to cancel a planned trip to 3Rs, etc. for last week because of the heat my father /
my fishing partner his doctor said no to being on the beach with 100deg+ temps. I had the itch, and though I might try something around the Bay for a day if I could drive right up to the beach my Jeep is my beach machine all set up for the surf, etc cant live / fish without it; you know how it goes.
As the temps are planned to subside, we are scheduled again for three days
In Delaware this coming week. My Jeep is Red, 88, with all kinds of stuff all over it.
Anyone recognizing it off the mention on this thread stop by and say HI !!!!!!!!!!!!

Webmaster,
I fish the DE surf almost exclusively - mostly IRI to include the jetties, the inlet, the south parking lot area, and 3R's area. I do not have a 4X4 but lug my stuff over the dunes with a surf cart. If you see a guy with a conventional reel setup slinging metal around 5 AM for blues, stop over and say hello. I have a surf mate fishing cart...

Sandcrap,
The first day, Wednesday, well not be on the beach that early; have to wait
for the Park Office to open and renew my permit. But, Thursday and Friday
we will be out before dawn each day and I will look for ya.
We will be at camp site T-28 and I think I will do a little night fishing
at IRI.
Hope to see ya.
