Hit the trusty 4 mile run. Ahhh nature:

Biting flies were nice and thick. Glad I wore shorts. Fidel showed up a few minutes later and hooked up a nice hog:

That dude can fish man, I've never been up there and caught more than him. Ask Andre, he'll tell you. At one point he went up on the bridge to away from the little green bastages, and we both hooked up, don't know if you can see him in the background of this little rat:

Some brush had drifted out toward the Potomac and lodged right on the first pilon. Created a nice little habitat. I took a few pumpkin finesse worms from Fidel and we both hooked up 5 or 6 in the next hour or so. Alot of fun.

Finally left after I saw the bush next to me shaking around, and heard some weird noises under the rocks. "Fidel,"..."what the hell was that bro?". Even though at this time I remembered what he was gonna say. "That's the rats bro, big ones". Awesome, yeah they were all over. Well it's getting late....

That’s funny man, we were just talking about buzzbaits last night. I have never had any luck with them at all. What color you think? I’ll sure give it a shot though. Wanna check it out this evening?

White in the day, black, black with red/blue/purple at night...odd to like dark colors at night but these monday and friday night tourny fisheres here swear by em
