WE HAVE A CHANCE TO CARRY THE OCEAN MASTER RODS. THESE ARE THE SAME THAT ARE CARRIED BY BASSPRO. I CAN OFFER ALL OF THEM FOR PRICES THAT ARE LESS THAN YOU WOULD PAY AT BASS PRO SHOPS.
PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR FEEDBACK ON WHAT YOUR OPINION OF THESE RODS ARE.
IN ORDER TO CARRY THEM I HAVE TO START BY MAKING A PRETTY LARGE PURCHASE IN ORDER TO DIFFER SOME OF THE FREIGHT.
SOME EXAMPLES:
35-100-007-00 12' 6-12OZ CASTING $92.50
35-100-005-00 12' 6-12OZ SPINNING
$92.50
PLEASE GIVE ME SOME INPUT HERE ON THIS PRICING.
THANX...............RANDY

Off the rack heavers, me, still love the OM's, but mine are the 11', 5 - 10 ounce variety. Now, 12', 6 - 12 ounce, under $100, sounds good. May even be willing to grab one for my arsenal, since the OM was the rod that caught my first striper, my first blue, my first red drum and my first black drum from the surf, and even tossed in a keeper surf flounder. Back thier rods and only time I had to go back for the attempt to replace, well, line wrapped around the tip in darkness, casted, threw, and lost top half, got a new one. May also want to check out the lower ends, 2 - 6 ouncers.
Don't think ya really wanna go with the up to 12 ounces though, as many are not willing to toss that stuff if the water and winds require. Can wear a guy down.
Have Jeep will travel :D

What are the chances of you carrying the new Cape Point rods by Bass Pro? Would love to get the 12' casting model if you can get it.

THe OM's are GREAT RODS. I have three and LOVE them. The 6-12's are a MAN'S rod, though, VERY heavy duty.
The 12' 3-6 and the 10' 1-4's are awesome as well..
I'd suggest getting a selection of all of them, cause not everyone will want that big heaver.

hmm.... i wonder if an 8 or 9 om casting on an abu 6500c4 (or c5 i can't remember) would make a pretty cool combo? any input on this? currently its on a 6&1/2 st croix max rate 1 oz.
randy, please keep up posted on the arrival of these OM's... thanks... werd.

I just bought my first one (OM Cape Point) and I would buy another one but it would not be until next year. I kind of spent my budget for fishing equipment already. But you never know ... Santa has not asked me what I want to for Christmas yet soooo .....:D

I have the OM Lite or the 3-6 ounce in a 12 ft casting. Love it for an off the shelf "budget" rod. Would love another one. won't have the $ for a while, but if you are still carrying them in a few months...
By the way, they tend to under rate them. i was tossing 8 and bait with mine just fine (not able to lay into it though with bad wrist).

By Conventional I assume you mean casting, not spinning.
In stock now I have a 10' casting. I will be ordering others to restock this week if this doews not suit your needs. Please let me know. Once ordered from BPS it takes about a week for me to get them.
Thank you for the inquiry.
Randy..best if you give me a call 757-465-9020.
