I wanted to try it so......

As I said I wanted to try some rough water and when I went out today at Ocean View I found it :eek: Them waves reminded me more of launching at the Point in Hatteras.

First launch wasn't to bad just kept strokn till I was past them breakers and then played bobber boy over some white caps.

Second launch was a bit more fun :( as I got turned sideways I saw a fishn line so I did the best thing that flashed threw my mind,,,, fell over :rolleyes: ,,, great news, I didn't loose nutten so I guess I am ahead of that game.

Third and last launch,, after full recovery from second,,, went straight out and found what looked like a sweet spot,,, according to the fish finder,,,, and anchored up,,, casted a few times and nadda but I noticed I was still driftn, anchor and all so by then I had enough fun and sun so rode some of them white caps in and called it a good day,,,, I didn't drown so thats why it was a good day.

I hit Chicks at 6:00AM but didn't like the water so I didn't fish. I did go out and practice flipping the yak....which wasn't hard in that water. I was very disappointed I didn't get to fish. That was my only available time this weekend.

Shooter, I wish I could have joined you today.

I stayed land locked and surf fished Chicks at the base of the CBBT. Lots of grass. One small spot and one small croaker. Not the best day of fishing I've ever had. :rolleyes:

I should have the yak in the water Monday and/or Tuesday. I might try Lesner ... at least the inside of the bridge.

I dunno about going under that bridge yet. :eek:

Ok now that you got nitiated you're an old pro.
Did you get back in it after you got dumped or did you push it back to the shore.
I did that (dumping myself and getn back in)up In Burwells bay a couple of weeks ago. It aint the easiest thing to do but I gor er done.:D

Yea I was so close to shore I just fliped-er over backed it up and went head long right back at it,, either I aint scared or to dumb to be,,, needed cooled off anyway :D

Teo, bud I am shocked ya aint already had your hind parts a yak yet,,, if this fat boy can do it and not sink anyone should be able to do it :eek:
