Little action?

I went to the south part of the island today,and there were some folks throwin stingsilvers and flat mohawkin some nice lb and a half to two lb bluefish.. Anywho,it was a relief from smolderin hot,small fish and empty hooks... :rolleyes: :D

Fished S. Point on Ocracoke last night from 4:30 until about 8 - soaked mullet, squid, FB, and shrimp without a bite. Saw one spanish caught on a sting silver so I threw on for a while with out any luck. Sitting on the beach with my wife and mom at Nags Head right now trying to decide how much effort to put in today. Have a small bass boat here I might put in currituck sound or I might just try my luck surf fishing in front of the hotel. Guy at TW's in Kitty Hawk was real down on the surf and pier fishing here right now - 'course it is August.
