2nd avenue pier

Hi all. Getting psyched for my next trip (still 2 months away) but we will be staying again in Myrtle Beach near the 2nd ave pier. I never hear reports from there. Is it okay, or should I make the run up to Apache? I have had luck surf fishing in that area though.

Few flounder and a lot of sheepshead, that's about all their catching on 2nd Ave.

I love that pier and the tackle shop. There's a younger guy who works there who might still remember me from about 4 years ago when I used to fish there all the time. Wow, I can't believe it's been that long ago. Time flies.
