Most of those prices are more then what I can get it for if you count shipping esp. the emcast plus and emblem reels. Great selections you have though. Emcast plus reels are going for $72.00 at BPS

Do you have the 9 foot dolphin rod in the 2-6 oz rating?

http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.SearchResults?cmid=TOP_SEARCH_GO

My search of today shows the Daiwa Emcast Plus at $79.99 and I do believe they charge shipping if you order it.

Also I called the BPS store in Hampton and they confirmed the price at $79.99.

Thank you for your comments.

I would have to say that it is in very poor taste to come on the sponsor's board and make such a comment.

I think the prices are great; but I don't think it should always be about money. What about service after the sale?, what about supporting a small business owner?, what about giving back to the man that helps keep this board going? I doubt any of these things really matter to you as I notice you're not a supporter of P&S either and with over 400 posts. Shame on you:--|

Thanks,,,

" Most of those prices are more then what I can get it for if you count shipping esp. the emcast plus and emblem reels. Great selections you have though. Emcast plus reels are going for $72.00 at BPS " per KT UMCP earlier post.

I hesitated as to whether or not to write this or not. But then I said ," What the Hell ", it's my page on this forum.

I was in Hampton earlier tonight shopping for a pool table. I was close to BPS so I stopped in and visited the fishing department. There are no Daiwa Emcast Plus reels for $72.00. Theirs are $79.99 mine are $69.99.

I ask you KT is this an honest mistake or are you just full of crap ?

If this sounds like sour grapes it probably has to do with the fact that I put over a week in researching these prices in the hopes it would generate sales for me and hopefully some great Christmas toys for you guys. First guy out of the box makes an absolutely unfair and inaccurate comment.

Check out the prices and if you think they are good, buy something if not don't.

Thanx..............Randy

[FONT="Arial Narrow"][COLOR="Red"]I will accept your apology but you need to review what you said.

Her is a direct quote from you, "" Most of those prices are more then what I can get it for if you count shipping esp. the emcast plus and emblem reels." TOTALLY FALSE.

Now where I come from MOST means more than 1/2. So you were saying that you feel over 1/2 half of my prices are higher than your majic sources.

THAT IS TOTALLY UNTRUE AND YOU SHOULD OWN UP TO IT.

As for Walt he is one of my best friends and I completely agree with his post.

Man those prices are fair and reasonable! B&T bussiness is a tough dance on a good day. Man I have seen so many good shops close due to walmarts and other cheapo sources, I guess the guys that dont support the B&T's buy their fresh Bunker, sand flees, sea mullet and live eels there also! Good luck without good local bussiness!!

ive been watching this board for months, and randy is ALWAYS coming out with deals and prices WELL BELOW anywhere else. also i have noticed alot of repeat customers on this board too, which says alot about the service you receive too. which obviously is great.

i dont think randy is thinking to much of himself, but more of trying to get us(fellow fishermen) great deals on everything that we'd need.

Randy, thanks for what you do here and at ur shop. :)

I think that Randy is a decent guy and his prices are always quite good for a retail store. Can you buy stuff used for less...sure...but that is not that this is all about. He sells new items at a great price and works hard to get what folks want.

This is one local retailer that really does try to give everyone a good deal and he does it for everyone. Try going to other local shps and you won't find this.

This is an honest local small buisnessman and we need to wish him well.

Just got off the phone with Randy. I will be placing an order with him in the near future. He can get you just about anything you need even if he did not list it earlier. He was very helpful answering my questions and helping me try to decide what I needed for the type of fishing I was going to be doing. I'm glad I found his post before I made the trip to BP next week.
