Bob Hall Beach...15th and 16th..

Went down on Sunday to fish the good weather. Started looking at Bob Hall and drove south on the beach. Ran across some really good water about 4 miles down. A 50 yard stretch of the beach where there was a big secound gut. Little waves breaking. Semi clear(tan) water, current was going South and fishable.
First cast with shrimp/Fishbites produce a good size Pompano. My father in-law and uncle in-law came down from Victorville Ca. both got hooked up on Pomps also. They were coming from the frontside of the secound gut.
Big Whiting were also there. The great thing is that the Reds showed up. We ended up with 4 slot reds, biggest 25".
Reds were caught on cut Whiting. Oh...Also one Stringray.
Total for the 15th
4 Slot Red's
6 Pompano's
Half a bucket of Whiting.
1 Stingray
16th....................WIND,WIND,WIND.
We didn't even wet a line.
Took family to the Lexington, Port A and Mustang Island..

Sounds like a good trip I'm dying to get down there for a trip I'm hoping to get out on Fiesta weekend I just hope the weather is nice I Heard that they are starting to catch the Kings off Bob Hall I usualy fish PINS but I occasionaly hit Bob.
