Report for 04/21/07

Today is the 3rd Saturday in April which in CT it's opening Trout season so this report is from the freshwater side. Short and sweet fishes thee Mianus river 2 Rainbows biggest was 15" but a great day and it's because of opening day us why I'm in love with fishing will go to the salty side tomorrow.

weather was good, but the fishing was not the only thing good was the eye candy but is great to fish both days of the weekend

Caught 4 FAT Rainbows on 4/22 here on Cape Cod on (you won't believe this) a 3/8 oz blue/chrome Kastmaster with no bucktail.Seems like way too big a lure,then I thought maybe the minnows the trout were eating were about the same size (2 1/2" or so).Lots of fun,biggest went about two and a half pounds.
