Packery Channel 18th and 19th

Got down to do some fishing/watching....Started at BHP and drove to the 10mm on PINS. Weed was thick!!! ended up at the Packery South Jetty. Wind was blowing and the surf was up. I never have seen that much weed on the beach or in the channel.
Fished the end of the jetty and didn't get one run. One thing which was good to see was a Tarpon roll on some Pony Mullet about 25 yards in front of me. Another fisherman (Gabriel) saw the Tarpon also. There here guys. It will be only a matter of days....

Yep it sucks when the conditions are bad but you still made memories and thats what counts.

By the way I love your reel covers from that last picture. :rolleyes: :beer:

Its nice to go out with the family..Also nice to have a place that you can catch "some" kind of fish to make the kids happy...
