..stayed at the buena vista condos....arrives friday morning at around 6....after a 15 hour drives....was out fishing on teh beach by 6:30...tossed a stingsilver...first cast land a nice fat lady fish...call em trash if ya want. their still fun to catch imo...second cast hook up another one...set out teh big rod with a fish head....10 minutes later...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...fish on...spinnner shark clears the water and aboutr 10 minutes later got him on teh beach...bout 80-90 lb or so...really thick body....fish anotehr 1/2 hour with a jump off and a bite off on the big rod...plenty of sharks around..off for some wedding stuff..planning..rehearsal..

...fish teh next morning...hook up after about an hour of trying to catch bait...water alot murkier and rougher...cast out a big bait...hook up again...BIg shark surfaces...bout 7-7.5 feet it looked like...dorsals about same size, and color was right for it to be a lemon..looked like a lemon, but could be worng...strips off about 100 yards after surfacing shakes around and bites me off...ida had trouble with bringin taht one in anyway on 17 lb testand a daiwa 20...

btw i wanst launching the baits, the spot i was casting two was just a pass between teh shore break and the outer bar...plenty of people swimming right where i was catsing during teh day...

Just got back from Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan area. Stayed around Bon Secour refuge. Fishing from our bayside pier I caught 12-15 stingrays, several white trout, some good size atlantic croakers, about 40 blue crabs, and of course hardheads.

Fishing in the surf at Mobile St. I caught a few blues, a small (18") shark, ladyfish, and 3 keeper pompanos. I could see some sheepheads cruising the surf, but couldn't catch them. I only got to fish the surf twice due to rough conditions most of the week.

Also went out into the gulf and caught several red snappers and triggerfish.
