I mainly fish fresh water. I'm getting really interested in Going down too the coast. The closest Saltwater is 6 hr's away. Man! I wouldn't know where too start. Pier's, Jetty's, The Surf? High tide, Low Tide, Doe's it even matter? Trying too some what read the Surf Or at least know what a descent spot look's like. Bait Ect... Ect...! The list goes on and on. My Point is, If i'm going too Drive 6+ Hrs. I want too make it the Best Experience Possible. :rolleyes: Just trying too soak up as much Knowledge As I can Which ain't much. Any Info much Appreciated.:beer: too P&S:beer:

Magged, your best bet might be is to see if someone that fish's the area your targeting would be willing to meet up with ya and show ya the ropes. Nutten like seeing how and what to use for the target area and ya just might make some new fishn buddies.

PS: offer to bring what ever they are drinkn :beer:
