Anybody know this crew and have any commentary? Fishing with them up there this weekend on Stellwagen bank trip. Loading up Haddock and some cod now, I hear.:)

24 big ones last night here, amazing night. 32"-46". Ran outta bait...

Trip was great, fishing was bad. Day 1, last Friday, April 11, 2008, had 42 on board landed 7 keepers, 1 cod, 2 cusk, 4 haddock, I believe was the braekdown. Next day, around same number of heads on board, we had about 60 keepers. More action, most people had zero. More cod that day. Fish were there wouldn't bite, I saw the charts myself. Tons od life whales and porpoise galore. Hats off to the captain as he fished hard, we made at least 10 stops Friday and came in 1/2 hour late at 5:00. Saturday they had another boat out, chartered head boat, I heard they got 13 keepers. Fishing was too slow to be called slow.

what were you using for bait. i like to use mackerel or herring when the fish dont wanna bite clams

Might have worked better, we were soaking clams.
