would be better if it were a manual shift rather then automatic.

Well I would prefer manual as I love to "drive" the car. But this car has steptronic which allows me to shift the car without a clutch and it also has paddle shiters on the steering wheel! This car is mainly going to be used by my wife when she returns from Iraq so that is the reason for the automatic/steptronic.
